The master&#8217;s program thus leads to a professional qualification that is necessary for working in research and development with management responsibility. It also provides the necessary knowledge for scientific work at a doctoral level. \r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"field-std-text\">\r\n<p>In addition to the STEM elective (15 LP) and non-STEM modules (5 LP), a large portion of the credit is earned in the area of the individual specialization: <\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Modeling and simulation of mechanical systems<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>Energy and process engineering<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>Construction and automation technology<\/li>\r\n\r\n\t<li>Materials and Micro-Engineering<\/li>\r\n\t\r\n\t<li>Turbomachines<\/li>\r\n\t<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p>You can read more about the various specializations <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mb.rub.de\/studium-mb\/bachelor\/vertiefungen\/\"> here.<\/a><\/p> \r\n<br><br>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mb.rub.de\/studium-mb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Master_diagramm.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"615\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-562\" \/>\r\n<br><br>\r\n<p>The Master&#8217;s examination (30 LP) is intended to determine whether the candidate has acquired sound knowledge and the ability to independently apply sophisticated scientific methods.
