Dr. Barrantes is a co-founder of the SEPM program and has since taken on the position of program coordinator as well.
Dr. Barrantes is also the scientific director of the “Sales Engineer VDI” at the Academy of the Ruhr University in Bochum.
He initiated the Academic Association of Sales Engineering (AASE) and is active in technical sales committees and advisory boards of the Association of German Engineers (VDI).
He is the contact person for inquiries from the university sector as well as from industry.
Those interested in studying abroad can also contact Dr. Barrantes as a program officer for various university collaborations in Europe.
SEPM students who are still studying according to PO 13 must complete two mandatory internships. The contact person here is the internship advisor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Andreas Putzmann.
