Internship
Mechanical Engineering
Practical training is an essential part of our bachelor’s degree program in mechanical engineering. Therefore, two industry internships over a total period of 20 weeks are mandatory. A first basic craft internship of six weeks should be completed before the start of studies, if possible, as experience shows that there is little time for this during the course of studies in addition to exams.
The 14-week professional internship, in which students gain an insight into possible future fields of activity alongside engineers, is to be completed in the 7th semester.
